Automotive diesel

Automotive diesel fuel is a high-quality diesel that is guaranteed by a controlled supply chain. It is characterized by a cetane number of more than 51, which is a measure of ignition quality. The diesel fuel meets the European standard UNI EN 590, as well as all legal and customs regulations. It does not contain metallic additives. However, FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) may not always be present in the delivered product, even though it is currently allowed by legislation. To meet the diverse requirements of our clients, we offer diesel fuel options with varying sulfur content levels, including 50ppm, 500ppm, and more.

Winter diesel fuel

Paraffin in diesel can solidify in very cold temperatures, causing clogging in filters, fuel and injection pipes, particularly during the start-up phase. To avoid this problem, oil companies distribute a special fuel called GP Diesel winter diesel during the colder months, from November to March. This fuel is guaranteed to be usable in temperatures as low as -16 °C, which is colder than the “summer” diesel that is distributed during the rest of the year. In mountain areas where temperatures can drop even lower, a special “Arctic” diesel is distributed in service stations that can be used in temperatures as low as -25 °C.

Denaturated diesel

Denatured diesel is a fuel that is specially formulated for use in agriculture and marine applications. Because of its intended use, it is subject to reduced excise taxes compared to regular diesel fuel. To distinguish it from traditional diesel, it is dyed green before it is sold. It is compliant with the European standard UNI EN 590, as well as legal and customs regulations. It does not contain any metallic additives.
